VISCOPLUS EK 70 GREY is a grey powder adhesive composed of hydraulic binders, aggregates with a selected particle size distribution, and specific additives blended in a constant ratio according to a formulation developed in the CONCETTI LAB laboratories. The exact proportion of water used for mixing results in an adhesive with high workability, excellent adhesion, and ease of application, suitable for bonding any type of ceramic material. VISCOPLUS EK 70 GREY is suitable for installing any type of ceramic tile indoors and outdoors, on both floors and walls. Given its high content of synthetic resins and its exceptional adhesive properties, VISCOPLUS EK 70 GREY is suitable for the indoor and outdoor installation of all types of ceramic tiles: porcelain stoneware, terracotta, single-fired and double-fired tiles, and natural stone, provided they are moisture-stable and not prone to efflorescence. It is suitable for installation on exterior facades, terraces, swimming pools, and cold storage rooms when used in combination with the elasticizing latex EUROLATEX1000. VISCOPLUS EK 70 GREY can be used on cementitious substrates, leveling compounds such as EUROLIV 10 and 30, cementitious plasters, and traditional screeds EUROMASS 50 and quick-drying RAPID MASS 50 from the EUROKOLL product line. Screeds made of anhydrite or on gypsum-based plasters must be pre-treated with PRIMER GES. Substrates must be perfectly flat, mechanically sound, free of loose particles, and free of grease, oil, paint, wax, and sufficiently dry. In the event of unevenness, it is recommended to use the EUROLIV product line at least 72 hours prior to installation to level the substrates.
Mix the contents of one bag (25 kg) with approximately 7–7.5 liters of clean water, preferably using a mechanical mixer, until a smooth, lump-free mortar is obtained. Let the mixture rest for about 5 minutes, then stir it again before application.
