VISCOFLEX EK 70 is a white or gray powdered adhesive composed of hydraulic binders, aggregates with a selected particle size distribution, and specific additives blended in a constant ratio according to a formulation developed in the CONCETTI LAB laboratories. The exact proportion of water used for mixing results in a mortar with high workability, excellent adhesion, and ease of application, suitable for bonding any type of ceramic material, including large-format tiles.
VISCOFLEX EK 70 is suitable for installing any type of ceramic tile indoors and outdoors, on both floors and walls.
Given its high content of synthetic resins and its exceptional adhesive properties, VISCOFLEX EK 70 is suitable for the indoor and outdoor installation of all types of ceramic tiles: porcelain stoneware, clinker, terracotta, natural stone, and reconstituted stone, provided they are dimensionally stable, even in large formats.
It is suitable for installation on exterior facades, terraces, swimming pools, and cold storage rooms when used in combination with the elasticizing latex EUROLATEX 1000.
VISCOFLEX EK 70 can be used on cementitious substrates, concrete, cementitious plasters, and EUROMASS 50 screeds from the EUROKOLL product line. Screeds made of anhydrite or on gypsum-based plasters must be pre-treated with PRIMER GES. Substrates must be flat, mechanically sound, free of loose particles, and free of grease, oil, paint, wax, and sufficiently dry.
Mix the contents of one bag (25 kg) with 6–7 liters of clean water, preferably using a mechanical mixer, until a smooth, lump-free mortar is obtained. Let the mixture rest for about 5–6 minutes, then stir it again before application.
