MONOCEM is a premixed product based on cement and lime, selected aggregates, and specific additives blended in a constant ratio to provide excellent adhesion and workability, suitable for application by mechanical spraying. Its formulation delivers good mechanical strength while reducing microcracking without compromising durability or appearance.
MONOCEM is used as a base coat plaster for both exterior and interior applications on traditional surfaces such as brick, concrete blocks, or concrete elements; natural stone masonry with medium absorbency; mixed stone and brick masonry; cement-based render; and concrete structures that have been pre-treated with EUROPRIM P1 bonding primer.
To apply MONOCEM with a plastering machine: adjust the amount of water to obtain a mortar suitable for application that is consistent and workable (20–22 liters of water per 100 kg of powder). If MONOCEM is applied by hand, it is recommended to mix it in a concrete mixer or with a slow-speed mixer for 3 minutes (the use of a drill/whisk is not recommended).
