MALTA PRONTA EK 97-MP16 UNIVERSALE is a bedding mortar for raising masonry walls, made from cement, lime, selected aggregates, and specific additives that provide good workability and excellent adhesion to bricks. In accordance with the current UNI EN 998-2 standard, it is a performance-guaranteed masonry mortar for use in both exterior and interior applications involving elements subject to structural requirements, with a compressive strength of Class M5.
MALTA PRONTA EK 97-MP16 UNIVERSALE is widely used in construction for erecting exterior and interior walls made of brick, solid or hollow bricks, concrete blocks, and stone. Given its ease of application, it can also be used for small-scale renovations and “do-it-yourself” projects.
Mix in a concrete mixer or by hand with approximately 16%–18% clean water until a homogeneous, lump-free mortar is obtained. If supplied in bulk via a silo, adjust the mixer’s calibrated flow meter until the optimal consistency is achieved. Do not exceed the recommended mixing times, and do not use a mortar mixer.
