MALTA PRONTA EK 97-MP16 FV is a premixed mortar based on cement, lime, selected aggregates, and specific additives and water-repellent agents, which provide it with good workability, low water absorption, color stability, and excellent adhesion to brick. In accordance with the current UNI EN 998-2 standard, it is a performance-guaranteed masonry mortar for use in both exterior and interior applications involving elements subject to structural requirements, with a compressive strength of class M5 or M10.
MALTA PRONTA EK 97-MP16 FV is used as a mortar for building and sealing exterior and interior walls made of “exposed” bricks or blocks.
Mix in a concrete mixer or by hand with approximately 16%–18% clean water until a homogeneous, lump-free mortar is obtained. If supplied in bulk via a silo, adjust the mixer’s calibrated flow meter until the optimal consistency is achieved. Do not exceed the recommended mixing times and do not use a mortar mixer.
