It is a pre-mixed plaster based on hydraulic binders, lime, selected aggregates, and specific additives. Thanks to its high level of microporosity, it significantly increases the surface area available for air exchange, drawing moisture from the wall through its excellent breathability and then rapidly releasing it into the atmosphere in the form of water vapor.
INTORISAN’s high porosity, combined with its excellent breathability, makes it particularly suitable as an exterior plaster for the baseboard areas of older buildings to combat rising damp and efflorescence. It should be applied as an interior dehumidifying plaster in basements prone to rising damp and efflorescence. The product is suitable for restoring damp interior walls in older buildings, provided they are not subject to water infiltration and are located in well-ventilated areas.
To apply INTORISAN with a plastering machine: adjust the amount of water to obtain a mortar suitable for application that is consistent and pliable (23 liters of water per 100 kg of powder).
If INTORISAN is applied by hand, it is recommended to mix it in a concrete mixer or with a slow-speed mixer for 10 minutes (the use of a drill/whisk is not recommended).
