This is a special hydraulic binder, composed of Portland cement 52.5R and specific additives, which provides high mechanical strength. When mixed with selected aggregates with a particle size range of 0 to 8 mm and water, it allows for the creation of bonded and floating screeds for indoor and outdoor use, with medium-to-fast drying and hardening times. Suitable for creating floating or bonded screeds for both indoor and outdoor use, ideal for the rapid subsequent installation of ceramic tiles, natural stone, hardwood flooring, linoleum, and carpet. The product is also suitable for creating heated screeds. Can also be used to encase in-floor utilities. Can also be applied over existing flooring after treatment with a bonding slurry.
EUROBETONCEM is mixed with water and assorted aggregates ranging from 0 to 8 mm without the addition of other binders or additives, using a traditional concrete mixer, mixing pumps, or by hand until a semi-dry consistency is achieved. Mix thoroughly for at least 5–10 minutes. Water dosage must be carried out with particular care to obtain a mixture with the consistency of “damp earth,” which must not cause water to rise to the surface during the troweling phase. Mixing ratio: 1 kg of EUROBETONCEM must be mixed with 7–8 kg of aggregate.
